Start early, step on the gas and whiz past Gurgaon on the NH-8. Pay your toll at Bilaspur and reach Dharuhera crossing in about 60 to 90 minutes. Squeeze past the Dharuhera market, turn left from the Bhagat Singh’s statue and then turn right to drive down the bypass road to Bhiwadi. If you opt to avoid the toll, turn right for Pataudi just before you hit the toll gate. The route passes through very picturesque area, but you will require a tractor to negotiate this road. You could also turn left, just before you hit the toll gate, and take the road leading to RIICO (Rajasthan Industrial Investment Corporation). This road is two-lane, traffic is less and the drive is smooth even if it is not as picturesque as the NH-8 or the Pataudi route.
